Our Big Green Egg will be used to help prepare Hors-d oeuvres and Grilled Strip loins for more than 1000 Guests.
Celebrity Chefs including Chef Michael Smith who lives in nearby Fortune PEI and an army of volunteers will be serving up this veritable feast of local food.
Proceeds from this annual event go towards building a school cookhouse in rural Kenya (this year a seventh cookhouse will be built), providing over 100 mosquito nets to an African community, providing an annual $10,000. grant to the local Food Bank, supporting the local Coats for Kids program, funding a new mothers cooking class. Leading up to the Feast tickets on a BGE will be sold at our local Big Green Egg dealer, Main Street Home Building Center in Souris for $5.00 each proceeds from the lottery will go towards purchasing Mosquito Nets for children and adults in Africa.
